Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question: Does your staff speak English?

Answer: All our team members are fluent English speakers and have excellent written communications skills.

Question: What is your company staff?

Answer: We have 50 technical employees with an average of 3 to 5 years working experience per employee. All programmers hold University degrees in computer science. 

Question: If a customer hires three consultants and wants to increase to five consultants is this a problem?

Answer: No. Our in house recruiting staff can quickly ramp up the team to whatever requirements you have.

Question: How quickly does Running Code respond to customer needs/emails/calls?

Answer: Our contact and response service levels are defined in each Service Level Agreement (SLA), including an issue escalation process. 

Customers can communicate with developers via email, web chat, video conferencing, or by phone. Running Code teams use a project management software tool that is available to customers that keeps them updated on daily tasks.

Customers are provided with weekly status reports that outline weekly accomplishments, plans for next week, outstanding questions, issues and tasks. 

Question: How can customers be assured that they have quality individuals on the team?

Answer: Our in house recruiting team diligently works to only hire the top talent in the market.  Running Code understands that the most valuable asset is its consultants and we make every effort to provide professional development and a fun comfortable place to work. 

Question: How secure is customer source code and other sensitive information?

Answer: Running Code has strong security procedures in place to prevent unauthorized access to any customer data.  Running Code has clients in data sensitive fields such as health care.   

Question: What programming experience does Running Code have?

Answer: Running Code has vast experience in Microsoft .NET technologies, PHP, Java and database development (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

Question: How can quality and reliability of software be guaranteed?

Answer: Customers are provided with preliminary (beta) versions of software, installed at a shared location for internal and user acceptance testing.

Question: Who owns the code at the end of each project or phase?

Answer: The customer owns all the code, documentation, design and the final deliverables.

Question: What is your warranty period?

Answer: Our warranty period is 30 days after the final delivery of issue fixing. After the warranty has expired, Running Code offers a separate support & maintenance agreement to handle support issues.  Future enhancements and developments are handled as separate contracts.
